DataLink™ software creates an integrated data acquisition & display environment for all of Magna Systems’ wireless measurement products. The DataLink product family uses a convenient Windows®-standard, wizard-driven format to simplify and accelerate your test setup. All DataLink versions have a test scheduler that allows you to run tests automatically or on your command. DataLink products acquire and display real-time data in both numerical and graphical plot formats. All DataLink versions manage all the network communications and provide operational warnings for battery conditions and missing nodes. DataLink products periodically store data during testing so you will never lose results. DataLink Basic, Lab & Lab Plus all generate Excel® format reports to streamline analysis of results.
All DataLink versions are compatible with Windows® XP and VISTA.
Basic Version
In addition to managing network communications, DataLink Basic performs all the fundamental functions required for test configuration, data acquisition & display, data storage and report generation. A copy of DataLink Basic is shipped with each GateWay™.
Lab Version
DataLink Lab focuses on enhanced data display & management and temperature data logger capability. Users can observe data in various temperature units, import, export & store test configurations in Excel® format. A data chart is also automatically generated in a data report in Excel® format. In addition, data from different nodes can be displayed in the same chart. The complete data history of a test is available to view in real time. Each chart shows data statistics (average, minimum and maximum values). DataLink- Lab Version also supplies wireless thermocouple data logger capability. This allows temperature data to be acquired without radio contact and downloaded via the wireless link after acquisition.
Basic bread baking profile program is also available for displaying the percentages of baking time associated with yeast kill, starch coagulation, and reaching core temperatures.
Lab PLUS Version
Designed to handle long range real time data communications, Lab PLUS version works with Barker™ wireless network range extenders to provide seamless messaging and data acquisition for long ovens, freezer lines and other extended deployments. DataLink Lab PLUS also gives users the ability to program temperature alarms on a channel by channel basis and has built in alarm notification functionality.
ZoneCue™ Add-In Software Module
Designed to display the oven zone information with real time data communications, Zone Cue version adopt the oven zone distance and band speed to provide the module location corresponding to oven zones in real time and also indicate the expected average temperature inside each zone. Zone Cue can also identify the oven entry location to precisely indicate the module location inside the oven or freezer
Bread Profile™ Add-In Software Module
Designed to calculate the percentage of time staying at specific temperatures, Add-in Bread Profile receives the bread profile parameters from the users to identify the temperatures at Yest Kill, Starch Coagulation, Enzyme Kill and Final Core Bake. The bread profile data is generated at the end of the test in each data report. The user uses the data report for routine quality control and new recipe scale up development.
Advanced Display™ Add-In Software Module
Designed to calculate the average temperature at each oven zone and the average bake temperature of the whole baking. Add-in Advanced Display also allows the users to turn on/off temperature channels for the data presentation. It is convenient for the user to obtain a data report by simplying clicking the "Save" button which converts the data presentation into an image file in the JPEG format.
